Message From Our Dean

Welcome to Raffles Christian Kebun Jeruk Campus. Our commitment to holistic education extends beyond traditional academics. We aim to nurture well-rounded individuals who not only excel academically but also contribute positively to the community and the world at large.
We shall be guided by the following principles,
1. Cherish and celebrate the diversity within our community, recognizing that our differences contribute to a richer tapestry of experiences.
2. Pace a high value on service to others, understanding that our actions have the potential to positively impacts the lives of those around us.
3Approach challenges with tenacity, acknowledging that perseverance and determination are key to overcoming obstacles and achieving success.
DEAN'S WELCOMEMessage From Our Dean
Welcome to Raffles Christian School Kebon Jeruk (RCS KJ)
What kind of individuals do we hope our children will become in the future?
Is education merely about examination results, or is it also about developing wisdom, compassion, resilience, responsibility, and the ability to contribute meaningfully to society?
We believe education goes beyond academic achievement. Our purpose is to nurture future-ready learners of strong character, integrity, and compassion who are prepared to navigate an ever-changing world with confidence and purpose. We also believe that learning should be developmentally and age-appropriate, recognising that every stage of a child’s growth carries unique needs, strengths, and opportunities for formation.
Grounded in Christian values and supported by the Cambridge pathway, we seek to create authentic learning experiences where students are encouraged to think critically, communicate confidently, collaborate effectively, and develop a heart for service. Through leadership opportunities, entrepreneurship, sustainability projects, performing arts, global exposure, and community involvement, students are given opportunities to discover their strengths and grow beyond the classroom.

As educational scholar Thomas Sergiovanni (1992) emphasised, schools should not only transmit knowledge, but also build character, community, and moral responsibility. This echoes our belief that true education shapes both the mind and the heart.
We are also reminded in Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Guided by this conviction, we remain committed to nurturing students who are academically prepared, morally grounded, and equipped to lead and serve with wisdom, humility, and compassion.
Education is not simply preparation for examinations — it is preparation for life, leadership, and purposeful contribution.
Yours service, Ivy
Proverbs 22:6—“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it,” —and Colossians 3:23—“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,”
